Application of jaw crusher adjusting device

Jaw crusher is large and heavy equipment for the crushing plant. In the crushing process, the wear of spare parts is inevitable and it will largely reduce the service life of the crusher. It will also be a trouble for the production and processing of the crusher which reduce the production efficiency, cause the broke down of machine frequently and then reducing the use of equipment.

According to the feeding opening size, jaw crusher is divided into large, medium and small models. The feeding opening size more than 600mm is considered as large model, the feeding opening size in 300-600MM is considered as medium models and the feeding opening size less than 300mm is considered as small model. Jaw crusher has a simple structure, it is easy to manufacture, reliable in operation, convenient in use and maintenance.
 
The liner plate of the jaw crusher is constantly impacted by the stone, which makes the width of the discharge opening become larger. In order to ensure the product size, the width of the discharge opening must be adjusted in time. There are 3 basic methods of adjustment:
 
First, the use of plate adjusting device. The principle of the device is to put a group of backing plate behind the thrust plate support, when the plate number or thickness change, the thrust plate moves back and forth to regulate the discharge opening size. This adjustment device is simple and compact and weight of the whole machine change not too much, for this purpose, it is suitable for large and medium jaw crusher.
 
Second, the use of wedge to adjust the width of the discharge opening size. It can use bolts or worm gear or chain drive device to rise and fall the wedge. The front wedge is installed in the guide groove of the two side of the frame, it can move only horizontally. When the back wedge is raised up, the front wedge moves forward; the thrust plate and the movable jaw is followed forward and the discharge opening size decreases. On the contrary, the discharge opening size is increased when the back wedge drops. The advantage of such an adjustment device is that it can realize step less regulation and it do not need to stop when adjusting.
 
Finally, the use of electronically controlled adjustment. It can be very fast and effective to achieve the adjustment and detection of jaw crusher. It can be carried out in the microcirculation to use the change of stroke changes make adjustment mechanism to automatically respond to stress induction. Under this type of regulation, the jaw crusher is very sensitive.
